What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Ansen Corporation?
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Maintain and repair all types of automatic production machinery involving mechanical, electrical and/or electronic, pneumatic and basic programming skills.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain and repair machinery associated with the automatic insertion department, wave solder, water wash and other manufacturing equipment for printed circuit board assembly operations and other facilities related equipment.
- Determine causes of machine or equipment malfunctioning or breakdown. Plan repair methods, estimate time, materials and parts required and upon consultation with supervisor, requisition parts and material required.
- Troubleshoot machinery using oscilloscopes, voltage meters, logic probes, diagnostic maintenance programs and microprocessor-based equipment. Tear down and make repairs on machine and equipment. Replace worn or broken parts.
- Requesting quotations from outside sources for various requirements (ex: manufacturing equipment calibrations, HVAC equipment repairs, etc.)
- Perform various servicing and preventive maintenance functions in accordance with established specifications, schedules and supervisors instructions.
- Telephone system network physical installation and maintenance.
- Work from layouts, prints, specifications, parts lists, handbooks, instruction manuals and verbal instructions.
- Subject to call in after regular working hours in emergencies and other specified times.
- Perform other facilities related maintenance (ex: plowing.. sanding of parking lot..etc ) and installation work including electrical wiring, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning system work.
- Perform training as required (ex: fork lift, lock out tag out,..etc)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
