Position Overview:
ANSER is actively hiring for a Senior CBRN Analyst to work full-time / onsite at the Pentagon in support of the Joint Requirements Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JRO-CBRND). The person in this role will assist the Warfighter by linking Joint and Multi-Service CBRND requirements to today's dynamic concepts of operation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document CBRN/CWMD-specific Joint Concepts and CBRN/CWMD equities in other Joint Concepts, Capability Based Assessments (CBAs), Integrated Security Constructs, Defense Planning Scenario (DPS) Excursions, and war game vignettes focused on Force Development, Strategic Defense Concepts, and Multi-Service Force Deployment Data Vignettes.
- Develop Concept Required Capabilities (CRC) to provide focus for capability development recommendations that may lead to changes in Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P).
- In conjunction with the CBRND Community of Interest (COI), identify and propose military challenges that may be addressed through joint concept development.
- Oversee the Analyses of Alternatives (AoA) and develop requirements documents in coordination with stakeholder representatives.
- Participate in the Integrated Concept Team (ICT) meetings with relevant stakeholders to ensure Concept of Operations (CONOPS) / concept requirements are identified.
- Develop and submit Joint Staff Action Packages (JSAPs) to accomplish tasks.
- Provide senior-level briefings.
- Prepare regular reports on various identified technical issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- 15 years' of relevant technical area experience (comparable to a retired O-5/CWO5 or above or a former GS-14 or above).
- 10 years' experience in Joint and/or Service requirements development.
- 5 years' experience on the Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), a Combatant Command (CCMD), and/or a Service staff.
- Experienced with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS).
- Demonstrated understanding of the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS) and have knowledge of JSAP-Next.
Desired Qualifications (NOT REQURIED):
- Master's degree in a related discipline.
