Job Summary
The Seasonal Towel Runner gathers dirty towels from the pool area and other club areas and drives them to our nearby laundry facility for cleaning. The towel runner also brings clean towels from the laundry facility to the club and distributes them to the appropriate areas. The Towel Runner is also responsible for providing break relief to gate and towel shop attendants.
Job Tasks (Duties)
• Works with other employees to keep a fresh supply of clean towels in appropriate areas for member use.
• Removes dirty towels in an appropriate manner.
• Drives the company provided van to and from the laundry facility.
• Welcomes members as they come to the pool.
• Keeps an accurate record of members coming into the pool area.
• Reviews the approved swimmer list and identifies children who are not on the list and tags them with the appropriate wrist bracelet.
• Assists in keeping the pool deck clean and tidy.
• Hands out towels to membership.
• Keeps the towel shop clean and tidy.
• Issues swim diaper wristband.
• Keeps towels stocked on shelves.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and have a clean driving record and have had drivers license for 3 years.
• Good customer service skills and good communication skills are required.
• Must be able to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Must be punctual.

• Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, and pulling.
• Frequent sitting and standing.
• Must be able to work in a hot outdoor environment.
Position Classification and Expected Hours of Work
This is a seasonal part-time position. The assigned hours to this position vary each week according to event schedules, but include working on holidays and weekends.
