Job Description:
This position will assist the tennis staff in the creation, marketing, and promotions of all tennis events. They will also assist the pro-shop manager in the promotion of products in the shop. Event and communications duties include (but are not limited to) generating interest for the events, confirming participants, and coordinating with the Food and Beverage department on the execution of the events (ex. Clinics, men’s programs, ALTA/USTA, Annual Charity Pro-Am, special events, etc.)
Shifts

Other duties:
Event/Marketing Duties:
- Assist and coordinate with tennis staff in creating and managing special events.
Work with food and beverage and check-on set up for all events.
- Review the Tennis portion of the Ansleygram /This week at Ansley and send edits.
- Social media management (Tennis Shop Instagram)
Posting members, events, flyers, merchandise, etc.
- Attend weekly tennis staff meetings. During weekly meetings get all the information on events, remind tennis professionals of upcoming events.
- Submit to Catering, food, and beverage menus. Submit décor, budget, etc. to correct people. Double check set-up and confirm each event with catering.
- Create flyers/marketing material for clinics/events for print and electronic distribution.
- Expand communications to membership to advertise/confirm events.
- Keep Ansley App information up to date.
Tennis Shop Duties:
-Post on Instagram (merchandise photos, sales).
-Answering phone and member questions when needed.
-Assist in booking tennis courts, lessons, and clinics.
-Selling tennis merchandise to the membership when the pro-shop manager is not available.
Daily:
-Check emails
-Check form submissions
-Create graphics for any events
-Send out emails regarding any events
-Instagram post for all member activities.
-Send catering emails regarding any events
Weekly:
-Meet with Communications Director about upcoming events/changes.
-Make sure event info, décor, and prizes are prepared (if applicable)
-Make sure catering receives a head count for any events coming up
Requirements
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and Canva.
- Event planning skills
- Social Media Platform Management
- Proactive and able to begin work with minimal assistance.
- Friendly, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills

- Position is 100% on site requirement.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $18.00 an hour
