VP, Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will have exhibited skills with an analytical mindset and high attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in accounting/finance and have experience in maintaining the books and records in a fast-paced business environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages
• Conduct variance analysis to provide insight into business decisions
• Maintain internal controls in order to protect the company and ensure data accuracy
• Provide guidance to A/R and A/P team
• Strong partner to Controller and CFO in the day-to-day accounting operations
• Drive the full cycle monthly close process
• Assist the Controller with General Ledger management, journal entries, financial reporting, bank reconciliation, expense analysis and audit support
• Develop on-going and ad-hoc reports for management and external partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred but not required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant role
• Strategic thinker with the ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Aspire, T-Value, SuperTrump, Great Plains. Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets including Pivot tables and advanced formulas
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to be hands-on and work as a team player
