SCHOOL NURSE - 2 Positions
**This is a Grant Funded Position**
Requirements:
Registered Nurse, currently licensed in North Carolina with a four year degree in nursing required. At least 5 years of experience in nursing; 2-3 years of experience in public health, school health or pediatric case management preferred. National School Nurse Certification required within 3 years of hire date. This person will plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate a comprehensive school health program by serving as a program administrator, consultant, educator, advanced clinician, case manager and counselor. The primary purpose of this position will provide school with health services. In each school, the school nurse will identify the health care needs based on specific student populations and availability of health services. Assesses and evaluates the effectiveness of the services and health care plans. Collaborates with a wide variety of school systems and professional disciplines to enhance the promotion of wellness for students, families and staff.
