Who are we looking for?
Composite Resources is looking for experienced Industrial Painters to join our growing team. As an Industrial Painter, you will paint composite materials and perform hand-finishing operations.
What you get to do!
- Application of paint products accordance with customer specifications and requirements
- Maintain, clean, and repair spray guns as well as other related equipment
- Prepping parts and equipment prior to painting (i.e. sanding and taping)
- Apply both water and solvent-based coatings to meet class A finish in urethane, epoxy CARC, and enamel finishes
- Use both gravity feed and pressure feed paint equipment
- Attention to detail and accuracy while working with tight tolerances
- Performing self-quality checks
What you will bring to the Team
- 3-5 years minimum experience with industrial coatings
- Ability to apply and sand body filler
- Ability to read and understand technical documents in order to obtain paint mixtures
- Understand mil thickness, wet, and dry
- Autobody/automotive or other industrial paint experience preferred including the following: Masking parts, mixing of paints, and bondo & priming
- Experience with paint sprayers, pneumatic sanders, and other paint prep experience preferred
- Great teammate who can effectively interact with co-workers, management and collaborate with other departments in the organization
- High school Diploma or equivalent
