Description
The Embark Internship Program contributes to the spiritual, personal and professional development of the student. As an Exhibit Design Embark Intern the student will assist the team to design aspects for both attractions. Through this internship, learning new skills such as working creatively with others, ability to support/defend your ideas to others and be open to feedback provided, designing exhibit/attractions that may be added to their personal portfolio. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference.

This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.
Responsibilities
- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done
- Approach all tasks with a second-mile mindset
- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments
- Participate in life skills development courses provided for Embark Interns
- Participate in Learning & Development apologetics training
- Serve in the attraction operation departments to display our SERVE core value
- Assist with producing designs for use in permanent or temporary exhibit settings – this could include and may not be limited to concept design, interior and exterior design, concept illustration, outside vendor art direction, white model making, layout design, exhibit design, on site installation and art direction.
- Research and Development could entail researching requirements for a space of studying guest flow in attractions, compiling data from guest behavior, researching material compatibilities,
- And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Examples could be assisting with exhibit artistry, fabrication, graphic design, etc.

Qualifications
Requirements
- Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church
- Comfortable with Sketching and Adobe Photoshop
- Able to create white models or quick prototypes to work through ideas
- Experience in 3D modeling, a plus.
- Work as a team member with the ministry’s objective.
- Mission focused and motivated.
- Able to multitask.
Education & Experience
- Must have a minimum of 45 College Credits
- Must be currently pursuing a degree
- Artistic aptitude
- Portfolio
