Description
The Embark Internship Program contributes to the spiritual, personal and professional development of the student. As a Sales & Promotion Embark Intern, the student will support the Sales & Business Development team in building relationships, managing reservations, and promoting tourism partnerships. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference.
This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.
Responsibilities

- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments
- Participating in life skills development courses provided for Embark Interns
- Participating in Learning & Development apologetics training
- Serve in the attraction operation departments to display our SERVE core value

- Participating in life skills development courses provided for Embark Interns
- Execute the ministry vision of providing excellent service to all external and internal guests and promote this vision among coworkers.
- Answer inbound phone calls and emails regarding all attraction functions. Respond to inbound email inquiries requesting general information
- Transcribe and follow-up on voicemails for the Sales Team
- Provide personalized suggestions to groups for lodging and itinerary planning and send qualified leads to our hotel partners
- Assist with trade show presence and shipping tasks
- Monitor the attraction customer care/feedback inbox and respond to guests
- And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
Requirements
- Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church
Education & Experience
- Must have a minimum of 45 College Credits
- Must be currently pursuing a degree
