Summary / Role Purpose :
Execute the Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI) risk-management program and work with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual requirements arising under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable Federal contract requirements are being met. The Compliance Manager will[AB1] build the comprehensive compliance culture. The candidate will engage with key stakeholders cognizant security authorities, contract authorities, regulatory bodies, and the AGI Board of Directors concerning compliance matters. The scope of compliance oversight will include legal, regulatory, and policy compliance. This role will work with the corporate Legal team and internal-audit function, as needed, to validate compliance. This role includes proactively updating polices, practices and procedures along with the appropriate change management and training plans. The successful candidate must have the ability to both lead and direct changes across multiple functions.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI) risk-management program
- Assist the organization and its management in validating compliance with applicable FAR, DFARS, and other contractual requirements as derived from Federal regulations, including CMMC
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and develop corrective action plans to address those vulnerabilities and risks in close coordination with internal stakeholders, Ansys Legal, and Ansys Internal Audit.
- Work closely with management and employees to foster a compliance-focused culture.
- Prepare reports for senior management, the AGI Board of Directors, and others as appropriate
- Lead or partner with the various functions to ensure contractual requirements are being met and visibility is being maintained
- Develop training materials as needed to ensure compliance with Ansys policies and applicable regulations
- Establishing budgets for all implementation and related training programs
