This role combines creative design expertise with a deep understanding of mobile user experience to make complex audio technology accessible and engaging for musicians and creators. As mobile becomes an increasingly critical platform for music creation, this position will be instrumental in developing intuitive interfaces that empower users to achieve professional-quality results.As a member of our design team, the Mobile UI / UX Designer will report to the Creative Director and work closely with our development team to bring designs from concept to reality. The ideal candidate should have a passion for both design and music, with the ability to bridge the gap between sophisticated audio technology and user-friendly mobile experiences. This role requires someone who can think strategically about user needs while executing with pixel-perfect precision.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate in real-time with a small, agile development team to design a user-friendly mobile app interfaceTranslate complex audio editing and recording functionalities into a simple, engaging user experienceCreate and iterate on wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypesConduct user testing and incorporate feedback to refine design conceptsEnsure consistency in the visual language of the app, adhering to brand guidelinesStay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies in mobile design, particularly for iOSCommunicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and stakeholdersPreferred Experience and Qualifications Proven UI / UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app designs, preferably iOSExceptional Figma skills with experience building design systemsStrong understanding of social media UXExperience with music recording and editing softwareKnowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelinesExperience working in a collaborative team and directly with developers for implementation of designsExcellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interactionAbility to solve problems creatively and effectivelyExcellent communication skills and the ability to articulate your design decisionsA self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyBonus Points : Experience building apps for AndroidStrong background in music app development or passion for music technologyProficiency in Animation for UIExperience with or understanding of music products and audio softwareFamiliarity with the challenges faced by artists and musicians in recording and editing audioAbout UsAntares Audio Technologies is the leader in vocal enhancement software and maker of Auto-Tune, the best known brand in the music technology industry.
