JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President – Asset Management Support, the Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data by performing Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, and Periodic reconciliations across multiple accounts, portfolios, and internal systems. Your responsibilities will also include various cash related processes involving wire issues, reviewing wire instructions, and other cash related events.
Additionally, this role will be instrumental in identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues. This role is situated in a fast-paced environment, where you will be expected to apply your analytical skills and financial expertise to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly reconciliation of Cash, Positions, and Accrued interest values across multiple Portfolios, Custodians, and Fund Administrators
- Ensure all discrepancies are identified, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner
- Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to enhance reconciliation tools and automate processes where possible
- Handle the booking and reconciliation of internal fee processes within the system of record.
- Ensure that all fees are correctly accounted for and reconciled on a regular basis.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in transaction processing and reconciliation.
- Assist in identifying and resolving wire issues.
- Review and verify wire instructions to ensure they comply with internal policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies within transaction processing and reconciliation.
- Implement best practices to enhance operational workflows and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate will be an analytical, self-motivated, and proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree, with a preferred concentration in finance, accounting, business, or economics
- 3-5 years’ experience with a financial institution or other organization with exposure to reconciliation processes
- Strong understanding of Loan Operations with some exposure to Asset Management and or Structured Products
- Knowledge of LoanIQ or WSO a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 with emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel usage or comparable software application.
- Motivated self-starter with a responsive, friendly, and professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to be decisive, highly organized and prioritize tasks including the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust priorities as needed in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work productively in a cross-functional team environment with both internal and external stakeholders while taking individual responsibility for quality and accuracy
- Proven record of reliability and dedication to high quality work product

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Actual base salary within the specified range is comprised of several components, including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, specific degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and, if applicable, the location of the position.
This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance).

Salary Range
$90,000 — $105,000 USD
