This is a Hybrid role based out of our office located in Loveland, Colorado.
The Target Pay Range for this position is $107,000 - $134,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
Job Purpose / Overview
SDET Automation Engineer designs and builds test automation for multiple global development teams, developing solutions using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This includes hands-on leadership driving the automation of features done by both in-house SDET and outside vendors.
The SDET Automation Engineer will design and build innovative digital solutions to production. This role will collaborate with the SDET Automation Lead, developers, product owners, manual testers, and architecture in ensuring thorough, efficient, and quality testing. This person will also coordinate project-level automation testing and strategy for multiple R&D projects, both new and in-flight.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and build automation testing efforts for multiple agile teams which includes internal teams and vendors
- Strategizes in shifting from manual to automated testing
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and manual testers to determine automation strategy, including identifying what should be automated.
- Provide automation test estimates for all automation work
- Follow Antech Automation testing standards
- Ensure proactive communications to leadership and functions within and outside of IT
- Create metrics and dashboards utilizing Azure DevOps to provide insights into automation activities
- Help ensure teams execute ideal automation testing where testing starts with the developer and the tester is part of the development
- Drive the constant goal of continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
- Ensure thorough automation testing on risks and dependencies within the projects and programs

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand / wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and / or move up to 15 pounds.
The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
