Description
The Cleaning QC Supervisor at Apex Marina plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the Apex cleaning services. This position involves overseeing the cleaning and quality control operations related to Apex Turn Services. The Cleaning QC Supervisor will lead a team of cleaners and quality control personnel, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Quality Control Operations:
- Lead and mentor a team of cleaners and quality control personnel, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff based on daily workload and priorities.
- Coordinate with other supervisors to ensure boats are serviced and prepared for customers' arrivals.
- Ensure schedules align with business demands.
- Dock Operations Coordination:
- Work closely with Dock Supervisor, Office Supervisor, and Mechanic Supervisor to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that the team complies with APM, NPS and NN policies and contractual compliance requirements.
- Digital Tracking System Implementation:
- Collaborate with the management team to help develop and implement digital tracking systems for cleaning and quality control operations.
- Utilize technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
- Safety and Security:
- Enforce marina safety protocols and ensure all staff are trained on safe boating and dock cleaning practices.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to boaters, addressing inquiries, assisting with requests, and offering guidance on marina amenities and services.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Computer Skills:
- Proficient in using Cobalt, Paycom, and Telegram for efficient operations and reporting.
- Hiring:
- Interview and hire seasonal cleaners and QC personnel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in marine operations or related field is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in marina operations or a similar role.
- Knowledge of boating safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 pounds) and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable with performing tasks on the water, including boarding boats and working on docks.
