ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General description of main / primary duties and responsibilities of the job, aptitude, level of complexity, span of control, autonomy, decision making and judgement. It is central and necessary to the satisfactory performance of the job. Includes the following and other duties as assigned.
Under limited supervision this position will :
- Responsible for designated industry segment to manage multiple concurrent large-scale, highly-complex, multi-discipline Information Technology projects of various sizes from start to finish.
- Plan, organize and implement projects within budget including and up to $8M. Identify opportunities and risks based upon a thorough analysis of current and future trends.
- Facilitate project discussions with leadership on prioritization or adjustments on project deliverables, risk and mitigation strategy, areas for improvement and lessons learned future planning.
- Apply deep understanding of organization’s upstream E&P and Midstream functions and initiatives to effectively implement systems and programs. Provide guidance and support to team and project contributors to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Incorporate into the project plans Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) methodology, cyber security, SOX requirements, etc. Set and maintain quality standards for project deliverables and ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, Licensure (minimum level required)
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.Field of Study : Computer Science, Management Information System, or related field.At least ten (10) years of experience managing Information Technology related projects.Experience in Project / Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Program and Project Management.CORE COMPETENCIES

Deep understanding of upstream E&P and Midstream functions such as, Geology, Exploration, Drilling & Completions, Gathering, Trading, Settlements and Financial functions.Expertise in industry software, such as : ArcGIS, ARIES, Merrick, CygNet, Rockwell, EAM, Endur, Enertia, or similar systems.Possess understanding of complex computer systems, networks, architecture, and system design.Ability to influence, motivate, task, and lead personnel in a matrixed environment with no direct managerial authority.Proficient knowledge and expertise in executing Project Management processes and procedures.Knowledge of business concepts and principles. Capacity to effectively create, manage, forecast, and maintain project-level budgets.Ability to effectively estimate, create, manage, track, and maintain Work Breakdown Structures and Project Schedules.Demonstrate consistent, logical and rational approach to issues.Ability to acquire understanding and absorb new information rapidly.Ability to communicate clearly with all levels, from staff to executive, in verbal and written form with both non-technical users and with technical IT functions and vendor teams.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
