Are you ready to grow as a Network Engineer-Architect? Antero Technology Services is looking for a proactive person with a TS/SCI clearance to join our Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering Team. Your team reliably delivers next generation enterprise services for tens of thousands of mission-critical customers on a global scale. You will be assessing, implementing, and verifying service upgrades to the enterprise infrastructure. - Design and deploy global to site-level networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
- Assist in the design and implementation of network systems, tools, hardware, and software
- Assess network utilization: suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
- Support Tier 3 escalations via packet capture analysis and troubleshooting of performance issues
- Configure, monitor, and maintain infrastructure servers to ensure network and system integrity
- Develop network technical documentation, diagrams, policies, and procedures
- Use Putty, SMC, GEM, Splunk, Wireshark, HPNA, HP NNMi, Netscout, and various other tools to manage infrastructure
- Interface with vendors to ensure proper performance of tools and software packages
- Provide analysis and root cause resolution of network and system infrastructure problems and outages
- Participate in research and development of innovative new technologies to continuously improve the IT business needs of the organization
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations to senior-level Government and Vendor decision- makers, technicians, and managers
What you’ll need to have
- TS/SCI; CI Poly
- 8570 IAT Level II Certification (typically Security )
- Must have at least one CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIP-ENT or similar network certification
- High School 12 years; Bachelor’s 10; Master’s 8
- Knowledge of Hierarchical Network and Multi-layer network designs
- Experience with WAN circuit technologies (T1; DS3; OC-3; OC-12; OC-192)
- Working knowledge of network technologies and protocols including Trunking, VTP, Layer 2 & 3 Port-channels, Spanning-Tree, Port-Security, HSRP, EIGRP, OSPF, QoS, BGP, and MPLS, BFD
- Hands-on coding experience in Python, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, and/or other relevant languages
