Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team. The Intake Specialist will coordinate appointments, in person and over the telephone, for potential personal injury clients. They will be responsible for discussing the process of treatment and expectations, as well as explaining the importance of detailing pain and suffering, and journaling. The candidate will play a crucial role in gathering information, assessing the validity of claims, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries from potential clients.
- Conduct initial interviews with potential clients to gather detailed information about their cases.
- Assess the validity of potential claims and determine if they meet the firm's criteria for representation.
- Schedule initial medical provider visits.
- Enter and maintain accurate and detailed records of client information in the firm's case management system.
- Provide clients with information about the legal process and what to expect.
- Schedule consultations and follow-up appointments for attorneys.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other staff members to ensure a smooth intake process.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service or intake role, preferably in a legal or medical setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle high call volumes and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
