Escrow Associate
We are looking for an escrow associate to be responsible for providing administrative support to the escrow officer. The responsibilities of an escrow assistant include preparing real estate closing documents, improving services provided, and maintaining files and records.
To be successful as an escrow associate, you should be an excellent communicator, have exceptional customer relations skills, and be confidential. Ultimately, a top-notch Escrow Associate should manage client accounts with care and discretion and have good organizational skills.
Escrow Associate Responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize in a high volume/fast paced environment realizing their work impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team
- Managing client files and properties
- Compiling and processing escrow instruction packages
- Managing customer queries, with a response within an hour
- Acting as a liaison between the customer and parties involved in transactions
- Preparing reports and spreadsheets regarding sales and property inventory
- Resolving client requests while building strong relationships
- Verify commitment information matches in file, then send to involved parties
- Balance with the lender
- Prepare initial compliance documents
- Prepare and send buyer/seller settlement statements
- Builds effective internal and external relationships with Escrow, Title, and Sales through the delivery of truly remarkable service
- Acts as a neutral liaison between file parties, adheres to company policy, and monitors and mitigates risk to the company
- Recognizes and solves atypical problems that occur infrequently
- Communicates and explains complex information
- Evaluates and selects solutions from existing procedures or precedents
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Escrow Associate Requirements
- Previous experience in banking or real estate preferred.
- Good administrative skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must be discrete and confidential.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to deliver superior customer service required.
- Must have high level of organization and strong attention to detail.
- Must have ability to consistently meet deadlines, demonstrate strong follow through, and to follow departmental procedures.
