What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Anthology Senior Living?
Position Scope : The housekeeper is responsible for cleaning areas as assigned and requested throughout the community. These areas may be resident homes, public places, or staff areas.
Reports to : Housekeeping Manager
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Supports the mission, core values and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.
- Completes all hours of state-mandated continuing education each year.
- Promotes and displays a spirit of teamwork in performing daily duties through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
- Supports a positive and professional image through actions and dress.
- Promotes the property positively and effectively communicates the organization's values to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the community.
- Cleans and maintains assigned areas, including public areas and resident rooms.
- Cleans restrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartments and common areas.
- Report, turn in and log all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Vacuums carpeted areas and mops tile floors.
- Spot cleans walls and windows.
- Dust's furniture and empties trashcans.
- Cleans baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.
- Assists with activity room set-ups, which could require movement of furniture.
- Performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned.
