Taxi Driver/Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our passengers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate local routes effectively. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting clients to their desired destinations while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.

Duties

• Safely operate a taxi vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Pick up passengers at designated locations and transport them to their requested destinations.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle to ensure passenger comfort.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other items as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, friendly, and professional at all times.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to find the best routes and avoid traffic delays.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fares, and passenger information.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly to management.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and service standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving or related fields such as Paratransit, Limousine, Van driving, Bus driving, or Delivery driver roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and points of interest.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse passengers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Familiarity with using GPS technology for navigation purposes.

Must be 26 years of age (for insurance purposes). Full-time, Part-time work available. Monday-Friday. Early morning hrs.- early evening. Usually start around 7:00 am & done by 4/5:00pm.
