Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing drywall and possess a strong attention to detail. This role involves preparing and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth and professional appearance. The Drywall Finisher will work on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, and will collaborate with other tradespeople to achieve high-quality results.
Duties
- Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams for a smooth finish
- Sand and polish finished surfaces to prepare for painting or other finishes
- Install fixtures, trim, and moldings as needed
- Perform airless paint spraying for final touches on drywall surfaces
- Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation when required
- Assist in metal stud framing and masonry tasks as needed
- Collaborate with remodeling teams to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role
- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques
- Knowledge of plumb principles and fixture installation practices
- Familiarity with stucco application methods
- Experience in water damage restoration and mold remediation processes
- Skills in metal stud framing, remodeling, masonry, and trim carpentry are highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
