Job Summary
The Insurance Sales Specalist role markets, prospects, and sells American Family Insurance products in all product lines. Maintains effective customer relationships, understands customers' needs, and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings.
The Insurance Sales Specalist role markets, prospects, and sells American Family Insurance products in all product lines. Maintains effective customer relationships, understands customers' needs, and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings.
Responsibilities
- Helps the Agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers.
- Proactively cross-sells and or coordinates with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers.
- Prospects for new business through leads, telephone calls, networking events, trade shows, and personal contacts.
- Prepares quotations and applications and delivers effective presentations in order to close sales
Qualifications
- Current Personal Lines insurance license or required within 60-days of employment.
- Ability to work independently, complete work in a timely manner and manage clients in order to meet sales goals/metrics set by agency.
- Demonstrated strong sales and customer service experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.)
- Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers.
Compensation: $37,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
