Position Summary:
The Field Engineer will be responsible for assisting in on-site construction activities, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors. Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of field experience in construction or engineering-related work.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (required or must obtain within the first 90 days).
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certification (preferred).
- Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector (CESCI) (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with teams and subcontractors.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of how to operate a computer

Responsibilities/Duties:

- Assist in monitoring field operations to ensure work is performed in compliance with contract documents and project specifications.
- Perform on-site inspections and quality control checks.
- Support the project team with layout and survey coordination.
- Track and report daily project progress, including work completed and potential delays.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Assist in resolving field issues by working closely with superintendents and project managers.
- Maintain and update project drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
- Ensure adherence to all site safety protocols and participate in safety meetings.
- Assist with project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.
- Other duties as assigned
Salary : $40,000 - $60,000
