Anthony Medical Care is a busy rural practice in place for 24 years with a close proximity location in Pierson. We need a strong applicant with extreme attention to detail. EMR, (Eclinicalworks preferred), excellent clinical, and computer skills are a must!
Looking for a long-term fit nurse practitioner / PA to work and partner directly with a tenured physician. Focus is on geriatric primary care including preventative and chronic disease care.
- Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of a collaborating physician/medical director
- Excellent computer skills, including email and EMR (ECW a plus)
- 5 plus years experience and background in the top 13 chronic illnesses and medications used to treat them
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal, demonstrates a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with all colleagues; fully engaged in the concept of “Integrated team based care”
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or PA license in state of practice location Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program with Board Certification
- Active and unrestricted DEA license
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators
- Excellent typing / PC Skills
Ability to work 8-5:00, Monday - Friday.
A self-starter and a person with the ability to distinguish ways to make a process better is necessary. Health, dental, and vision package available.
