We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Answer phone calls promptly, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant’s offerings.
- Assist in managing the flow of guests during peak hours to minimize wait times.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing overall guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, enabling efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette to effectively interact with guests.
- A passion for food service and hospitality, demonstrating a commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests.
