Child and Family Therapist

Position Summary

The Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) will provide clinical services to clients in need of mental health treatment. The LISW will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and provide individual and group counseling to clients as well as assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans. The LISW will also maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and communicate regularly with interdisciplinary team members.

This position does require evenings, weekends, holidays and on call time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

• Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
• Assist in crisis intervention services and make appropriate referrals when necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment
• Attend regular clinical supervision meetings
• Stay up-to-date with relevant ethical and legal regulations and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
• Participate in team meetings, in-service trainings, and other agency activities as requested
• Are accessible on-site or face-to-face via interactive videoconferencing based on the youth's clinical and / or medical needs.
• Available twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director
• Other duties as assigned

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be exposed to some hazards such as radiation, bodily fluids that may contain disease, and fumes from laboratory chemicals.

Compensation details : 60000-80000 Yearly Salary
