About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker to join our team at one of our partner schools in Michigan. As a SSW, you will collaborate with special education teachers, support staff, and families to design and implement individualized programs that address the unique needs of each student.
Responsibilities:
- Support general education and special education students as mandated per student IEPs.
- Monitor IEP goal progress through participation in student IEP meetings.
- Provide group and individual counseling sessions to general education and special education students.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and monitor student responses to behavior intervention plans.
- Complete functional behavior assessments and communicate results to team members.
- Facilitate educational and behavioral interventions through identifying community resources and making referrals.
