Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of students with IEPs, offering additional support to students on 504 plans and those requiring mental health services, and leading group trauma-informed practices.
About the Position
\We are seeking a passionate and proactive Elementary School Social Worker to join our team for the upcoming school year. This individual will be responsible for working closely with students, teachers, and families to provide targeted social work interventions using the Easy IEP system. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed practices and group facilitation.
Key Responsibilities
\- Individual Support: Manage a caseload of approximately 6 students with IEPs, providing targeted social work interventions using the Easy IEP system.
- Group Trauma-Informed Practices: Develop and implement group lessons and support sessions to address trauma and promote social-emotional learning for all students.
- Community Engagement: Participate in district staff activities, including new staff orientations, to integrate social work practices across the school.
