Social Worker for Elementary Schools

The successful candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Social Work and be approved to work in schools in Michigan. Experience as a school social worker is a plus, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Main Responsibilities:
- Personalized Student Support: Offer individual and group counseling sessions to help students overcome personal, social, and academic challenges.
- Social-Emotional Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention strategies to enhance student behavior and academic outcomes.
- Crisis Resolution and Management: Respond quickly and professionally to crisis situations involving students, including mental health emergencies and family crises.

- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with the LCDSW Director of Social Work for dedicated caseload support throughout the school year.
