AnthroMed Education is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an early intervention role supporting children from birth to 5 years old in a community-based setting. This position is focused on working directly with families through a coaching model and providing services in the community wherever children and families are located.
Position Details
- Population: Birth to 5 years old
- Duration: full school year
- Schedule: Flexible, with visits to community-based sites such as homes, daycares, and local venues
- Setting: Community-based
- Caseload:
- Shared caseload of approximately 120 children
- Services are provided 2x per month, 1x per month, or as needed according to the Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
- Opportunity for joint visits with other disciplines (e.g., Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists)
- Model:
- Reflective coaching approach, working directly with families to empower them in supporting their child’s development
- Community-Focused Work: Work in community settings like daycares and family homes, providing flexible, personalized care to children.
- Coaching Model: Utilize a coaching model to collaborate with families and support children’s developmental milestones.
- Collaborative Team: Work alongside a team of professionals from various disciplines, including joint visits to maximize care.
