As an Elementary School Social Worker, you will play a vital role in building strong relationships with students, teachers, and families. Your key responsibilities will include managing a caseload of students with IEPs, offering additional support to students on 504 plans and those requiring mental health services, and leading group trauma-informed practices.
What You'll Do
\- Provide Individualized Support: Work one-on-one with students to develop and implement personalized social work plans.
- Foster a Safe and Inclusive Environment: Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional learning.
- Lead Group Trauma-Informed Practices: Develop and implement group lessons and support sessions to address trauma and promote social-emotional learning for all students.
