As a key member of our educational support team, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to identify student needs and develop effective support plans. You will also provide individual and group counseling services to students, focusing on their unique strengths and challenges.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work, as well as an LMSW license eligible in the State of Michigan. They will also have experience working with students in a K-12 setting and be familiar with the principles of social-emotional learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Work closely with teachers and parents to develop and implement behavior support plans
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to students, families, and teachers
