Position Overview
Anne Arundel County Public Schools is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students with diverse communicative needs. This role will work with a blended caseload of approximately 25-30 students, including those in the school’s regional severe-profound program, where many students utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
The ideal candidate will be comfortable implementing AAC strategies across various service delivery models, including push-in, small group, and whole-group instruction. Caseloads may fluctuate based on district needs, and flexibility is key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of students
- Implement AAC strategies for students in the severe-profound program
- Utilize push-in, small group, and whole-group service delivery models
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide targeted interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Maryland SLP License required
- Experience with AAC implementation preferred
- Comfortable working with high school students with diverse needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
