Compensation & Benefits :

Pay Range : $58,150 - $78,910 (based on qualifications and experience).

  • Job Description :

    We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a background in AAC implementation and behavioral support to work with a small caseload of around 20 high school students. You'll join AnthroMed to work with a collaborative and tight-knit school community. This role is for an SLP who is available on a full-time basis for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for developing treatment plans, completing evaluations, and collaborating with parents and other key stakeholders.

    Additional responsibilities will include;

  • Provide year-round services for students including direct, small group sessions, and push in utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance communication skills
  • Compile and develop treatment plans to support students for caseload of 20-25 students
  • Develop and implement IEPs for students with ASD, incorporating specific, measurable goals tailored to each student
  • Regularly monitor and document students progress towards IEP goals and adjust therapy plans as necessary
  • Provide training on functional life skills for students approaching graduation
  • Implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and strategies, including communication boards, speech-generating devices, and sign language, as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and school district regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
  • Collaborate with department by being a part of team meetings with service providers, Special Education teachers, and BCBAs
  • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements :

  • School-based and / or pediatric experience working with K-5th Graders
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
