About the role
As part of our Public Sector team, you'll serve as the operational backbone of our public sector initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination across internal and teams such as sales, product and external stakeholders such as cloud providers, and system integrators. This role is critical in maintaining operational excellence and program continuity across all public sector engagements, while ensuring compliance with the unique requirements of government.
Responsibilities:
- Drive cross-functional coordination across all public sector initiatives, ensuring alignment between sales, product, legal, marketing, finance, cloud providers (AWS, GCP), and system integrators
- Own and maintain the public sector operational infrastructure, including tracking systems, reporting mechanisms, and program dashboards
- Manage sensitive customer tracking and documentation requirements that exist outside standard systems
- Lead strategic planning sessions and cross-functional prioritization with diverse stakeholder groups
- Lead weekly updates and status reporting to key stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Coordinate and track commitments across teams, ensuring timely delivery and proactive issue resolution
- Develop and maintain public sector-specific processes that align with government security and compliance requirements
- Create and maintain documentation for public sector programs, ensuring knowledge transfer and process consistency
- Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve program efficiency
- Drive program success metrics and KPIs that align with public sector business objectives
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and government stakeholders
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 5 years of technical program management experience, with significant exposure to public sector or regulated industries
- Strong track record of managing complex technical programs that span multiple stakeholders and systems
- Experience with government compliance requirements and security protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records in sensitive environments
- Strong project management skills with ability to track and drive multiple concurrent initiatives
- Experience coordinating between technical teams and government stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with ability to distill complex technical concepts for various audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results in ambiguous environments
- Experience implementing and maintaining tracking systems for sensitive programs
- Strong organizational skills with ability to create order from chaos
- Experience with government cloud service providers (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, etc.) preferred
- A passion for safe and ethical AI development, with understanding of its importance in government contexts
