You will work with a team of engineers and researchers to design and implement key components of our product and platform.Responsibilities : Develop and implement technical solutions to support user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growthBuild core components of the API to access large language modelsWrite billing, email, and other integrations with third party providersDevelop conversational interfaces that leverage the language modelsOptimize the API and interfaces for performance, robustness, and ease of useImplement tools and processes to monitor model behavior and performanceWork with researchers to improve interfaces based on interactions with real usersYou might be a good fit if you : Have 5 years of practical experience as a fullstack software engineer, preferably building APIs and / or robust, accessible user interfacesHave strong coding skills and experience with service-oriented architecturesTake a product-focused approach and care about building solutions that are robust, scalable, and easy to useEnjoy working with a fast-paced team tackling cutting-edge problems in AI safety and conversational AIEnjoy pair programming (we love to pair!)Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable experienceStrong candidates may also : Have worked with NLP and ML models before and understand their capabilities and limitationsHave experience with REST APIsHave experience operating on 0 to 1 products and / or in a startup environment Have experience with React and Frontend frameworksThe expected salary range for this position is : Annual Salary : $300,000—$405,000 USDLogisticsLocation-based hybrid policy : Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
