Job Summary:
A Termite & Rodent Sales Inspector is responsible for performing inspections of new prospective residential and commercial prospects properties to check for signs of termite and rodent activity. The Termite Pest Inspector assesses the situation and makes recommendations for remediation and prevention of future infestations.
This role is solely focused on acquiring new customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cold call prospective clients; be willing to reach out to prospective clients and be accountable for calling activity to Sales Manager.
- Follow up on office generated leads.
- Perform detailed and accurate inspections of premises, including examining walls, attics, crawl spaces, and other areas, to assess and identify possible termite activity.
- Analyze results to identify potential environmental hazards and potential sources of termite activity.
- Develop recommended treatments, including preventative measures, to eradicate and prevent further infestation.
- Estimate costs associated with treatment and/or preventing future infestations.
- Document all inspection results, as well as any additional recommendations made.
- Work with customers to schedule and complete follow-up inspections as needed.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of treatments.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory rules and best practices in pest control.
- Meet established performance goals for number of inspections, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide quality service by responding to inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.

High school education or general education degree (GED) required
Six to twelve months related experience and/or training in sales and dealing with residential and/or commercial accounts.
Valid Florida driver’s license
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to calculate rate and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs
