Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
New Start Technician position is responsible for performing new start installation services and providing the expectations for the customer on future services including any questions they may have. They will also have an open schedule to provide same day services as needed to promote same day sales and pick up work in surrounding areas as needed. Additional services may be required depending on work availability including but not limited to Universal Technician responsibilities.
Duties include:
- Provide timely and effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to new service clientele.
- Time management to arrive on scheduled service times of daily appointments.
- Install and establish SMART equipment at initial appointment.
- Maintain a daily schedule of 6-8 new customer appointments.
- Calculate basic math problems
- Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers
- Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents
- Provide customers with general information about our various services
- Conduct service calls as needed
- Problem solving and/or complaint resolution
- Drive a company vehicle
- Long periods of walking, up to 7 miles per day, at times with a (up to) 40 lb pack on your back
- At times, may have to enter/work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
- Be able to withstand long periods of squatting, standing and walking
- Be able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
- Have excellent listening and communication skills
- Be competent with the use of new technology
- Be organized and able to manage their own daily route
- Performs other duties as assigned
