Overview
JUNE 30th- OCTOBER 6th! We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Temporary Full-Time Staff Member in our Infant Room. This position will involve providing high-quality care for infants (ages 6 weeks to 12 months) in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally-appropriate environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and responsive care to infants, including feeding, changing diapers, and assisting with naps.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating environment for infants to explore and develop.
- Implement age-appropriate activities to support developmental milestones.
- Monitor and record daily activities, including feeding schedules, diaper changes, and any notable behaviors.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress, needs, and any incidents that may arise.
- Ensure all safety protocols and daycare policies are followed at all times.
Requirements
- Ability to create engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
- Previous experience working with infants or in early childhood education is preferred.
- A genuine love for working with children and a nurturing attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic knowledge of child development and infant care.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Must pass a background check and other required screenings.
