Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team in nurturing and educating young children. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children aged infant to preschool. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to implement effective behavior management strategies. The Daycare Teacher will work collaboratively with parents and staff to support each child's growth and learning.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide attentive care for infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, implementing effective behavior management techniques as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to early childhood education.
Experience
- Previous experience in daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with first aid practices is beneficial.
- Skills in infant care, nannying, or classroom management will be highly regarded.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all children.

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
