The Student Services Assistant plays a key role in assisting students with inquiries, processing student records, and providing general administrative support for the Student Services Department. The ideal candidate is customer service-oriented, detail-focused, and passionate about helping students succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for student inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist students with general administrative needs.
- Maintain and update student records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support the coordination of student events, workshops, and orientation programs.
- Provide guidance on student policies, financial aid, and available support services.
- Process student forms, enrollment verifications, and transcript requests.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure students receive necessary assistance.
- Monitor and respond to student concerns, directing them to appropriate departments as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.
- Support in preparation of Resumes for students that are entering the employment world after obtaining their RN license.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in student services, customer service, or administrative support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and student management systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A passion for supporting student success and engagement.
- Experience in Resume building is preferred.
Pay: $18/hr.
