Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and preparation.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Support catering events by ensuring all banquet-related dishes are cleaned promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling practices in the kitchen.
- Help with bussing tables during busy service periods to support the front-of-house team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
