Position Overview :
Responsible for writing, designing, building, and managing visual and multimedia deliverables that will help inform, educate, and inspire audiences through communicating through print media, digital Web-based, and audiovisual communications for the Coalition for the Common Good (CCG). Works closely with Marketing Communications staff at CCG member institutions. The position requires excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Visual Storytelling : Graphic Design, Digital, and Web Design (45%)
- Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, creating, and editing a range of traditional graphic design needs and standalone or Web-based digital deliverables.
- Graphic design projects include, but are not limited to, individual assets to full layouts for materials like magazines, brochures, booklets, and other print documents; layout and production of letters, postcards, table tents, and similar custom prints; institutional communication, signage, and other promotional and informational deliverables; and graphic assets used to support marketing and advertising campaigns including billboards, infographics, print ads, posters, brochures, collateral, and magazine layouts.
- Digital and Web design needs include illustrated content and other visual assets for digital slideshows and / or videos; digital layouts and assets for digital communication and engagement tools like Constant Contact, CRMs, and similar platforms; digital assets and graphics to support digital ads as part of integrated advertising campaigns; Web page layouts and over-arching website themes, microsites, and web-based graphics; motion graphics for videos and multi-media presentations.

Creative Team Collaboration, Marketing Support, and Client Services (10%)

This is a full-time, exempt, position serving a national university. A work schedule will be established in consultation with the supervisor.
