We’re looking for a very technical technical writer, someone who’s good with words and comfortable with code.
Most importantly, you’ve also got to be independent and personable enough to go have the conversations needed to make sure documentation is friendly, usable, and accurate; and a sufficiently critical thinker to identify and understand what those are in the first place.
Responsibilities
Learn our voice. Love our docs. Understand that everything is documentation, and be proactive about making our docs the best they can be.
Be willing to jump in on other writing and editing projects as well, because we’ve got a lot of them.
Key skills and experience required
Facility with words and technical concepts. You’ll be asked to do a writing exercise but not a coding one. If you have a relevant writing sample, submit it!
Ideally, we’re looking for a writer who codes, or a coder who writes.
Product management experience will bring your resume to the top of the pile.
