Summary:
As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the front office team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and guest satisfaction. Responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. This position works closely with all internal departments to maintain proper working relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Trains front desk and reservations staff on duties and responsibilities.
- Assist the Director in the operational duties of the Front Desk and Reservations Departments.
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Supervises daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures and are friendly and attentive to guests needs and services.
- Resolves customer issues, complaints and problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
- Consistently resolves guest problems and complaints in an efficient manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency
- Resolves issues/problems, coaches, and counsels the front desk and reservations team members to ensure a quality operation.
- Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, resort information and guest concerns in a timely fashion.
- Answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts resort reservations.
Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Front Desk experience as a Guest Services Agent, and/or two years’ experience in the Hospitality field.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
This position requires the associate to possess excellent guest service skills with a high energy level. Individual should possess good oral and written communication skills as well as be detail oriented. Associate should have the ability to type and input data into a computer database and be moderately familiar with Microsoft office software (Word, excel, etc.).

Long periods of standing, stretching, bending, squatting, walking and lifting.
