Lead Decorator

Antoine's Famous Cakes in Gretna, LA is currently looking for decorators to become a part of our team. Our location is at 1300 Stump Blvd. We are seeking self-motivated, ambitious, dedicated individuals to join us.

Responsibilities

• The decorator's job entails creating custom cakes per the client's requirements. Additionally, the work area is to be kept clean by all individuals. Cleaning tasks include maintaining icing buckets and neatly storing bags should be performed. It is crucial to follow health and safety regulations by ensuring product freshness and sanitation. Lastly, providing polite customer service is also a key responsibility.

Qualifications

• Antoine's is only seeking experienced cake decorators for this job opening. To apply, please ensure that you have at least five to ten years of experience and possess the ability to write on cakes, create roses, rosettes, sweet peas, and other standard confections. Additionally, proper piping techniques, creativity and good work ethics are a must. Interested applicants can visit our store to complete a form application and begin the hiring process with an interview. Please be prepared to demonstrate your ability to complete a custom design cake from start to finish. Hobbyist need not apply.

Available shifts and compensation:

We are excited to review your application for a decorator position, where hourly rates will be determined based on your skills. We offer shifts for all days except Sundays and compensation ranges from $15 to $20 per hour depending on your experience.
