Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservationist to join our team at Antoine's Restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for all reservations and providing exceptional guest service. This role requires a strong background in hospitality, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls and inquiries from guests, responding promptly and professionally to their requests.
• Process and confirm guest reservations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize restaurant software and phone systems to manage reservations, and guest information.
• Provide detailed information, services, and policies to guests. Referring all guests' discrepancies to management and special requests.
• Respond to guests' inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and courteous manner.
• Must have a complete knowledge of the menu and all related menu items.
• Maintain have a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available.
• Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• The ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent phone etiquette, with the ability to handle high-volume call volumes and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently during off-peak hours.
• Familiarity with operations and management systems.
• Proven customer service skills, with a focus on providing personalized and attentive service to guests.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using phone systems and restaurant software to manage reservations and guest information.
• Knowledge of guest services and ability to provide detailed information about Antoine's Restaurant and services.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, answering phone calls, and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
