Lead the changing, inspection, repair, and cleaning of molding tooling, waterjet cutting bucks, and check fixtures. Will be responsible for making sure all tooling is in good repair, clean, and ready for production usage.

Lead the changing, inspection, repair, and cleaning of molding tooling, waterjet cutting bucks, and check fixtures. Will be responsible for making sure all tooling is in good repair, clean, and ready for production usage.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job (This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary).
- Performs tool changes as required by the production scheduler.
- Ensures all tooling is preheated to the proper temperatures before tooling is used in production.
- Performs all inspection and cleaning of all tooling to ensure it is in good repair.
- Performs preventive maintenance on all tooling to keep it running effectively and efficiently.
- Will be required to repair hoses and equipment used in the preheating process.
- Will be required to assist Maintenance Technicians in specific repair tasks.
- Notifies management of recurring equipment malfunctions and of corrective action needed or taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed.
- Positive communications among other shift and departments to ensure consistent information.
- Adherence to plant safety requirements as established by company policy.
- Accepts assignments and other responsibilities as required in support of team objectives.
- Will be required to work necessary overtime.
- Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions.
- Other tasks as required by management
- May be required to stand long periods of time.
- Required to adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety Regulations.
- Good attendance and dependability.
- Heavy forklift operation experience.
- Basic experience with hand tools.
- Experience with molding tooling.
- Experience with the usage of quick disconnect fittings on air and hydraulics.
- Physical and mental stamina.
- High school or technical school graduate or equivalent of training or experience.
- Three to five years’ experience in forklift operation.
- Experience using basic maintenance skills and tools.
