You will report to the Lead Scientist Rheology. This position is based at the Advanced Technical Services Center in Ashland, VA.
The base salary range for this position is $80,300/year to $90,900/year and depends on related experience. Compensation additionally includes a bonus. Anton Paar USA offers full benefits and a profit sharing contribution to your 401k retirement savings. We offer a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years plus additional bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities include:
- Representing Anton Paar's technology and interests a industry meetings including TRB, AMAP, PARC, and others.
- Active participation in asphalt related groups including ASTM, AASHTO, and others
- Conducting, evaluating, and presenting workshops and measurements related to asphalt.
- Researching and identifying market opportunities through work with industry groups
- Travel (40%-60%, including overnight) e.g. for meetings, demonstrations, and workshops.
- 2-3 years of experience working with standards and thought leaders in the asphalt industry.
- Exceptional communications and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, result-oriented and initiate
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
