Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily specials and seasonal menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies, reporting shortages or needs to the kitchen manager.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or culinary role, preferably in a fine dining restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
